Happy Wednesday! I’d ask for forgiveness about the David Bowie, but some 80s rock in the morning never hurt anyone.
If you haven’t noticed, I haven’t done a whole lot of writing lately. Besides not being able to run (and this is a running blog after all…), there’s been quite a bit of personal shtuff going on that has preoccupied my mind. And, not being able to run and deal with all the thoughts and emotions has been hard.
I haven’t had this blog for very long, but I didn’t want to come on here and fake a post. I didn’t have anything to write about, so I didn’t write. But, things are finally shaping up and things are turning for the better.
I’ve accepted a new job here in Flagstaff and it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. The hours are better (no more closing shifts at the gallery), I get normal weekends again (YAY NO SATURDAY SHIFTS!), and it’s ten minutes from the house…SO much better then the 45 to get to Sedona.
I’m excited about this new opportunity. It’ll give me more chances to run here in town, explore new trails and spend so much more time in the place I love.
So, stay tuned for new exciting adventures as the months continue!
I just started reading (creeping) your blog. Congrats on the new job. Hopefully you’ll be able to run again soon.
